I've seen a video a while ago of a kid playing xbox 360 (maybe CoD?) using an unmodified xbox 360 controller, held up to his face in a bracket. He was using his cheek and top lip and chin to move the controls and push the buttons. Obvisouly he's had plenty of practice.

I've tried youtube, google, bing and yahoo and I'm clearly using the wrong search terms. Does anyone know the video I'm on about? Or can anyone else find this video? (I need a link to show to my friend.)

I'm just really confused how this can be done, using a standard controller? I'm assuming seeing as he's using his face to play, that he doesn't have hands, although i would have imagined it must be easier at least playing with your toes, rather than our face?

This is just strange. If anyone does find this, i'd very much like to see how this is even possible.

I can't remember whether this chap was born with the disablilty or whether he had an accident or something. He was effectivly paralysed from the next downwards, so unfortunately his hands and indeed feet were not able to be used.

I was absolutely blown away by this video, because he was actually really good. Which obvisouly comes with practice.

There was another video I say where a 2nd guy had lost the use of his arms but this 2nd guy could move his feet. So someone made him a custom controller. They basically took a standard Dual Shock 2 controller appart and then wired up all manner of differnt buttons to the circuit board inside the controller. He could then move his feet or face to make the contacts, which shorted out the original buttons on the controller, so the PS2 got the required input. I think this guy even had analogue control via a straw which he could suck or blow on to create positive or negative pressure that was translated into an analogue input.

This 2nd guy used his setup to play....... Wipeout!!! Seriously, one of the fastest most twitch responsive games around at the time, and he played with his face/mouth and feet. Seriouly impressive.

However I still think the first guy's effot was more impressive, as the 360 controller was not modified (to my recollection at least, so either not modified or not significantly at least).

I did a little digging and I've found the video of the 2nd guy.

Here he is, playing Wipeout using a modified Playstation Controller. (Sorry if I recalled any of the details incorrectly in my above post.)

Fair play to the guy. I think it's great that someone has built this for him. Although it doesn't look great, it clearly works well and he's put a lot of practise into using it.
