I'd love to know what my car cost its first owner. It has a full history but would the supplying dealer tell me what it cost? If not is there any other way of finding out?

It's a 2003 Alpina B3S and the first owner specified literally every option apart from elec adjustable seats and bluetooth. So even if I knew the original OTR price I reckon the options must have cost a small fortune. I'm just keen to know how much of a bargain I'm driving around in biggrin

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

I'd give Sytner Nottingham a call, they'll probably be able to tell you?

Why would you not want the electric adjustable seats?! Good topic though, I've often wondered this about my car.

Funnily enough the elec adjustable seats would be on my list of don't-haves - I've always thought of the extra weight of the 3 or 4? motors used in the seat and the potential for them to break down.

Previous owner wasn't the first - it's had a few.

So yours is one of the 8 2003 B3S saloons? Can't be that hard to track down the pricelist. What number is it?

It's number 63. Or 00063 to be precise.

By the way bigandclever, how do you know there are only 8 of these cars? I'm aware of the Alpina register but not all cars are on there, only those where the owner has been on to the site and registered it.

Cheers...

Thanks va1o - but it's not the BiTurbo that you posted the link to. Nor is it the 3.3 which is the other model Parker's lists - it's the 3.4. I wouldn't be confident of getting the exact right options in any case, plus you never know if the dealer gave a discount when it was bought. So you couldn't be sure you had arrived at the right cost even by taking the list price plus the options.

Because on the register there is a Production Figures page wink As previously stated, Sytner in Nottingham will have a copy of the original bill of sale, give them a bell.

This was my old one, then the ex nabbed it, and it would appear someone banged it into sometihng... http://www.thealpinaregister.com/B3/3.3/coupe/10

i have to agree, my garage isn't big enough (width wise) for me to get out of the car without moving the seat backwards with me sat in it.
so i get in and move the seat into the driving position, and off i go.
when parking in a parking bay i have to move my seat to exit the car if another vehicle is alongside.
on my return the opposite has to take place.
when i return to my garage i have to adjust the seat AGAIN to get out of the car.
ALL of this constant moving is wear and tear on motors that are driving something i don't need.
what price is a new motor fitting?
far more than moving it by hand, but it's everyone to their own.
