Looking at doing the solo traveler thing and been looking at some treking holiday, probably in peru (inca trail etc) anyone here done any of these and what where your thoughts on it, I'm looking at using a company call exodus so anyone who has used them would be interested in your thoughts of them as company.

Cant help regarding exodus, but there are several companies advertising in country walking magazine, that go to peru and other exotic countrys, so if you havent already, it might be worth a look. Also they have a readers forum(sorry cant remember the address) online, so might be worth seeing if anyone on there has experience of exodus! Hope this helps!

Exodus are a big name in that sort of trip.

You can find lots of info on the relevant branches of the Lonely Planet's forum, the Thorntree. Read the FAQs first or risk the wrath of some of the regulars, though!

Exodus are a big name, but I'd also recommend GAP Adventures for doing the Inca Trail. Are you looking to purely visit the Trail or would you want to do more of Peru on the coast?

We've got tonnes of options with GAP ranging from a week doing the Inca Trail and Sacred Valley up to a fortnight covering Colca Canyon, Arequipa and Nazca. The Inca Trail permits are sold out until mid-September at the moment, but it should be easy enough to get one sorted for any dates after that.
