Update on suspension bushes?

Investigating a slight knock that just got much louder I found the front upper (rearward) wishbone bush on my Griff has yet again disintegrated to the point of complete absence. I've been using poly items but this is the second set in 12,000 miles presumable sent to an early grave by the exhaust temperatures it's subject to.

I know the latest versions have a heat shield attachment and also that some of us have given up and gone back to standard rubber.
Does anybody have any experience of the latest revised version?

Ive got the ones from Steve Heath with the heat shield. 1000 miles in and still going strong.
