I know your against "chat rooms" and all that for the reasons already stated but how about, a little counter in a corner or something that says how many members are logged in and then a feature in members area to show who's logged in at any time that way if the e mail feature is enabled we can send a kind of IM between ourselves ?? Just a thought tell me bollox if you want
