How do I open a .EPS file?

I think Photoshop and Illustrator would do the trick...

yeap, generally an .eps file will open in Adobe Illustrator. If you get stuck email it to me and I'll resave it in jpeg etc

PhotoShop should also do it and is generally easier to find than Illustrator. You may find it wants to rasterise the image (if .eps is vector-based, I'm not sure); if so, to get a decent result, choose at least 300 dpi.

EPS stands for Encapsulated Postscript and is a vector format, in addition to the above mentioned programmes, Corel Draw will allow you to view and edit an eps file.
