I've obvisouly sparked a nerve with you chaps and unfortunately I didn't get a chance to reply to your competiton thread, and unfortunately I didn't proof read my post and the final comment reads as something completely the opposite of what was intended. It was supposed to read;

WildCards said:
ETA: I voted for specific car and class. Although I didn't really enjoy the previous tuning competiton much before mainly because I don't understand or have enough interest to understand what I'm doing I am interested to have a specific target to work to though, and it's be nice to know what the awards/prizes will be upfront. i.e. Best & worst A class grip tuned Reliant Robin, best & worst painted reliant robin, most air gained whilst in a reliant robin from a head on collision, best donuts performed etc etc. You know, fun st, booby prize stuff
I actually in my uneloquent way was trying to say that while I didn't enjoy the tuning competiton (which was purely down to me not knowing how to tune, not the competition itself) I would be more than willing to have a bash at another one if there were booby prizes and prizes for the worst tune/car etc.

I only play for laughs and I think I join in these things with minimal expectations for myself, I couldn't give a monkeys if other people think I'm good or bad at something, least of all a load of people i've never met. If this still doesn't explain my post then I'm clearly an empty, unimaginative person with a shallow soulless life.

Those last few comments from the Dirty Boys on the other thread took me totally by surprise, I managed to read your comment and I thought it was both very valid and not at all critical of them.

For them to reply as they did, IMO, is just pathetic.

Well I appreciate that mate but they obviously took it the wrong way. i don't like bad feelings between people regardless of the reason and I'd like to think we could be online* racing together soon.

*I realise i'm as flaky as a Mr Whippy with rasberry sauce when it comes to online play, but NAT really is a ball breaker.

Though our reaction to the dissection of our Comp. stands as we did genuinely put a hella lot of effort into it and really tried hard to add value and make it as thorough and extra bonus as possible.
As I said above, I didn't mean to belittle the competition, I chose the wrong words and on top of that I made unfortunate spelling mistakes that made it sound even worse. I did think the competition was good, and I was very pleased when you gave an indepth critique for each car. I hope you, Joe and I can join some interesting online racing without any animosity.

I did really enjoy Racing with you back in the day of Curry/ Luke/ Raz etc before it all went mad.
Aye, it were good.
I'm going to try and get back into that mindset, it was more fun. I don't care about winning anyway, so it's not far to fall! wink

Hopefully you guys have seen that interpretation of your comments was more of an issue than what was said, so perhaps we can all kiss and make up? It is a game after all (even though I am a 'Forza bot' (speak to Curry, it has something to do with being able to drive the Clarkson edition CLK55 wink )) and we all want to play nice. smile

With tongues?

I will never forget the whole Raz hooker evening. Proper tears of rofl that night.
Do you know what, I was trying to keep that a nice sensible post, (I was very tempted to say no tongues and no arse fondling) and look who drags it down...

Strawbery yogurt or chocolate mousse, it depends which way the wind is blowing. However i've pushed the boat out today and slapped aload of Rasberry yogurt on the old chap, it's got bits in it but they have extra soothing powers, so it's all good.

I can't wait for Live to be back!
