Well, I was waiting for Gordon's weekly blunder all day. I'm surprised it took till Monday afternoon though!

So the enquiry is to be held in secret?

I wonder why that could be?

Was there ever going to be an alternative outcome?

its a secret government....the public gets all its info from leaks...they use the terror laws for any old thing so you can be sure that relevent evidence for this report will be a matter of government security...

anyway, its classic brown giving the result after the election...i can just imagine it, labour wins the election through some kind of spin doctoring and then comes the leaked iraq report and then the stimulus wears out and 3-2-1 we are back in the room...

Yes I agree, terrible. It should be held in public just like the inquiry to the Falklands. oh wait a minute that was held in private as well.

Also where does everybody get the "in Secret" bit from. pretty sure that is not what was said.. if it was a secret they would not of told you they were holding the bleeding thing in the first place.

Falklands was a bit different tho part of the UK was invaded.

Iraq we stormed in for WMDs. I mean Reigiem change. Uh Terrorism , that was it...

It was a total clusterfk of spin and lies which is why the 'enquiry' will be behind closed doors & probably chair'd by Winky's lovechild.

Exactly.

I think people want the investigation not because we went to war, but because of the reasons the Government gave us for going to war. They lied in order to gain public support.

Labour make sure that we don't know how deep the conspiracy to invade Iraq went, what it involved and where the WMDs were.

And in other news, wet stuff seen coming out of sky, bears looking for doc leaves, bloke who lives in Rome seen wearing a pointy hat.....

LABOUR OUT!!!!

You Want The Truth? You Can't Handle the Truth

It's just like the film A Few Good Men, except without the Few Good Men.

We need a catchy title... Something sharp, accurate and easy to remember... how about 'C*nts'?

How about Labour Does Britain?

It'll be like Debbie does Dallas but with many more co*ks and an even bigger wizard's sleeve in the starring role.

Couldn't believe this on News at 10 yesterday.

Do it right or not at all.

Just watched this on the news. What a load of bks... they say it is to avoid influencing the election but I think that they are actually holding back information that would highlight the complete incompetence of this government. People need this type of information to be able to make an informed judgement on who is suitable to run the country.

As a Scot this man fking embarrasses me, this creep ran from a referendum, hid from a general election, shied away from the press over the expenses scandal and now bullsts his way out of the Iraq Inquiry, he is nothing but a pathetic coward. If he was a serving man, he'd be stripped of his rank and discharged for cowardice

Hmm, surely if war crimes have been committed then a failure to publicise this information would be akin to perverting the course of justice i.e. preventing a war criminal being brought to justice?!!?

C'mon someone, get to the ECHR and get this made public so we can send Blair to the Hague.
