Is it me, or have they created WAAAAAYY too many world war based games like these? IMHO that trailer looks like any other WW battle game, which is why i find the likes of Tom Clancy and COD4 so appealing.

Anything like the original and it will be bloody adictive multiplayer, i understand that when he whole community hits 42 million (or somewhere near that)kills then they will unlock a whole new level.

I think the multiplayer Battlefield is sooooooooooo much better than COD4 multiplayer. THe area is just that much bigger. Ive played Battlefield 2 on the PC with 64 people playing and the area is just massive. ALso the ability to use vehicles gives a differnt aspect to he game.

Modern Warefare 2 multiplayer needs to have the vehicles element to compete imo.

Was out yesterday although they appear to have seriously underestimated demand as I couldn't get into a game all night. May have better luck tonight...

Was quite fun doing the training though and getting used to the vehicles / blowing things up. I particularly like the fact that you can control the bombing raids for good all round destruction!

Strangely, it's advertised on BF2 when I click on the internet server list.

I played it all last night... once you get into a game its simply fantastic...

Downloadable arcade game for 1200 points.

Looks amazing for a download only game, can't wait to get into it. The "Squad" system sounds interesting and could allow for some good old fashioned PH ass-kicking!

Ah ha. So it's 1942 with BF2 gameplay (squads) for consoles? Wonder why they advertise it on the PC. :/

Got it at about 5pm yesterday but couldn't get a game until 3am......

.......it's bloody good though, has the best bits of 1942 (the maps, wepaons etc) combined with the decent sound and destructable terrain of BF Bad Company.

They have also given it a bit of WW2 styling to the sonds and graphics.

I forgot how fun it is driving the old tank and flying the Zeros's, dive bombing an enemy gun emplacment is awesome.

This server problem happened when the released Bad Company and it got sorted pretty quickly so I'm not to worried about that.

I do hope the release an uprade with the European campaign at some point.

MK4 Slowride if you get it give me a shout for a Squad game. maybe this will convert you from CoD to Battlefeild.
