Sunday drive - Thanks to Griff "K***RUT"

Thought I'd give the Chim a well deserved polish as the weather was so good, then as I opened the boot I noticed some halfwit (me) had forgotten to put the petrol cap back on when I filled up next to work doh!!
A quick phonecall to make sure they had it, and off I trundled for the first time with the roof off.
What a perfect day for taking the Chim out. After blasting a few cars up Duncton hill I came round the bend at the top to find a Griff K***RUT stuck behind another car. I've never heard a Griff with the throttle opened but what a bl**dy fantastic noise. We then ducked and dived past each car through the country roads opening up to make the biggest smile I've had yet driving the Chim. Dont know if it's anyone on here but thanks for making my drive home.
I'll assume whoever it was didn't have it opened up fully as I had my right foot welded and managed to keep up, still the vapour trails of somke that came out the back when he opened up with that noise (pre cat I guess) was just awesome.
