I agree - this was worthy of a bigger audience than just those who post on the TVR forum. I woiuld have missed it otherwise.

I don't frequent "General Gassing" either .

I thought ordinary "News" would have been perfectly adequate.

In actual fact, a thread WAS started in "News", (I think) - but the mods closed it.

In actual fact, a thread WAS started in "News", (I think) - but the mods closed it.

I guess the mods were trying to tidy up a bit of the posting to get only one main thread running, but it would have helped if they could have merged the threads together, or even directed the responses to the news story to the already running threads on the site. The official news thread was first replied to after 7pm when those in the TVR fora had been running all day

It also shows ( and I know its Le Mans weekend with its distractions etc but this is a core story to the origins of PH) that the PH newshounds need to keep an eye on their own fora for breaking news stories.
