What a brilliant day for a drive!

Cold but brilliantly sunny! Saw one Boxster with its roof down, three MX5s with their roofs up! With me trapper hat on (ear flaps down..chocks away!) and collar turned up...must buy some driving gloves!
Anyone else go out for a blast today?

Just got back from 2 blasts - One to Corfe Mullen and the other on the way back, with a very good BBQ in the middle. Its less than 5 miles each way as he crow flies however I appear to have used up over half a tank full.
All trundling was roof off, rear down (I was in the Chim) and kept warm by my trusty scarf and flat cap. I agree about the hands though, I must buy some gloves.
The weather seems to be getting to the temperatures it should be in winter, I am looking forward to some top off motoring on frosty mornings with the sun beating down.

I went out for a blatt first thing this morning, roof off, hat & gloves on...
came back, washed both cars (the TVR & the Omegod) then went for another blatt as the sun was going down - absolutely freezing, totally superb...
Saw several MX5s (all with roof up), an MG Midget (roof off), a TR2 (roof up) then an Elise (roof down - the only one to return my wave)

Ah, I'm glad that's normal - I thought it was just me!!
Great blast around the back roads of Norfolk this afternoon, frightened a few locals too.... shouldn't wander along at 35 on a clear NSL road now should they? TVR flypast - can't beat it! :-)

Had a real blast with a Ferrari 360 on the way, gave him a wave as I blew past him, turned up at the meet with the silliest grin on my face.
10-15 car convoy through N Kent countryside on the way home..perfect day.

Grahame - If I'd had known that you was going for a blast along the sea front today, I'd have tried and blaged a ride with you as I only live in Corringham (about 30 - 35 minutes away from Southend)!
