Beauséjour this morning.

The grass is nearly waist high and they are manfully trying to cut it in pouring rain. You'll get the idea from the pictures. The one of the high grass is where the Pistonheads camping site was last year.

UPDATE: 5.15pm and it is thrashing down and has been for 30 mins. Looks set in for the evening. The sky is leaden. Is the fact that the anmals are going by two by two of any significance?

Edit. bearing in mind that last year the heavy rain was two weeks before the race and it was still sodden I'm afraid it isn't looking good for Beauséjour nor Du Fresnes or Pincenardiere. These are clay soil base whereas the majority of the others are sandy soil and drain easily. I'll take a tour round Beauséjour and Houx and post tomorrow.

We are due to be setting up camp around 13:00 on wednesday so I hope it brightens up but if not Ive got my waterproof's packed just incase
