Bars In Le Mans

If you are thinking about the above then dont forget there is none better than Mulligans Irish bar on Rue Doctuer Le Roy (just off Place de La Republique).

Our group will be there most nights especialy Thurs, Fri and Sun. I'll be the one on the bar singing either I love You Baby or I Was Born To Love You.

Great bar and great atmosphere.

Always find Le Scarron a good larf on Sunday, watching the Cornish lunatics drinking pints of eggs and the like.

We didnt find any decent bars last year in Le Mans. We'll have to try harder this year though.

How far are these bars from the track?

Driving into town for the bars will depend on what time and what day, and can be a nightmare. Maybe 20mins on a good day. Best get the tram in, then you don't have to worry about getting breatherised. And they will be about. Times have changed in the last 5 years or so concerning this, and one more Ricard for the road etc, won't help you. So for the tram, best get off in the main centre square. Head down the road by Mc Donalds, and first left and walk up and there are loads of restros and bars. The Irish bar is up on the right.
