AA European Cover 30% Discount

I've just been told by a friend that he's found a leaflet advertising AA european breakdown cover specifically for le-mans goers, and that if you ring up and quote code LM09 you'll receive a 30% discount. I got a quote online of £21 for my TVR Tamora, but the code wasnt recognised online so will be giving them a ring later!

FWIW I have just called the RAC for a quote. The RAC's quote was marginally lower than the AA's, but the AA's cover is more extensive. In both cases I opted for quotes for comprehensive cover i.e. more than just road-side assistance and/or recovery of the car back to the UK.
It's difficult to compare like with like on these policies, but one thing that was interesting with the RAC is that the cost of recovering the car to a garage will be deducted from the £300 budget allocated for repairs (plus this allocation only covers labour).
With the AA, there is a £500 allocation, and the costs of recovery are not deducted from this. Furthermore, this allocation covers parts and labour.
This is what I understand to be the case, it's certainly worth asking the questions if you are comparing different providers. There are other differences in their policies, but the above was the key one for me.
Lastly, ask for a "personal" discount from the AA in addition to the discount given by virtue of the LM09 reference, this knocks another couple of quid off.

For anyone else looking in here, I went with the AA using LM09 code and for my 1992 TVR Griffith the cost was £48.53 for breakdown cover starting tomorrow until Monday, complete end to end cover.
The price was pushed up a bit because the car is over 10years old and it didn't make any difference that I was in the TVR Car Club as the LM09 code apparently gives you the best discount.
They have already sent me a text message less than 10 minutes after putting the phone down, with my policy number and the numbers to call in an emergency.
