Gurston Down June 20 / 21

Looks like a good selection of interesting stuff is entered for the June 20/21st Gurston meetings. Several TVRs, a couple of Vipers, the famous helicopter starter motor assisted 4 wheel drive special, Mike Endean’s Puma and some seriously quick single seaters. Anybody going to take a look ?

I am a fairly regular visitor to Gurston so I may well be there in my S3 dependant on weather of course. I'll look out for you.

I've been before and the Helicopter starter motor pre boost machine was awesome. Just a note but the engine is actually a 1.7ltr Vauxhaull engine I think.

If the car is abck and the GF will allow I may come along.

Think the base engine is a Ford BDA but yes it is quite small and light for the power output.

Top tip if close to this car when he spins up the Gas turbine. Take care of your Ice Cream or he will melt it.
