Help, my boot sticks out by a few millimeters on the lock side compared to the opposite side which is flush with the body frame. Does anybody know how to realign this. Your help is much appreciated.

Dunno. Is the boot lid twisted, or are the hinges not level?

Is it an original strut in the boot? if you remove the strut, does the boot lid align correctly ? I'm just wondering if the strut is to strong and is twisting the lid...

K wink

What ever you do, on trying to adjust it, it's a pain in the ass, but might
be a good idea to take one of the back lights out, and familarize youself
with undoin the boot catch, with you arm through the rear light hole.
WHY?
If you get the adjustment wrong, and close the boot, if it don't open with
the release lever, your fkkkkd. it will mainly be, if you fit it too much
to the left/right, ie not centre.

Someone else might come along and say thats crpp, but was my experience.

you could always mark a line on bodywork and catch, that might help.

If i ever had to do it again, i would take the light out.

Sorry

a few millimeters (<3 ?) difference with fibreglass panels is pretty good, especially for a TVR ! I've not seen an S boot that fitted perfectly, at least not in the way a steel panel can be made to fit. I'd be quite happy with what you have all along my boot shut lines !
