If they were to follow their own doctrine, then fuel tax cuts would help the lower paid to buy better, less polluting cars, inducing fewer accidents and thereby helping the poor, socially excluded transportationally challenged of Bradford - and no doubt other areas - to overcome their problems. (see www.foe.co.uk/resource/reports/env_justice_bradford.pdf )
Actually I think it's a slur on Bradford's good name....
Also, check the size of the downloadable .pdf file entitled "Who runs our Railways"....

Apart from voting several times if you follow the link to "urge the chancellor not to cut fuel tax" you can alter their letter to say whatever you want. It didn't go through my outlook so I guess there is a fair chance they might just vet them but you never know the numpties probably can't believe anyone would be so irresponsible. 
Here is what I sent I am writing to ask to you to make cuts in the fuel tax.
I believe there are strong environmental reasons for reducing the fuel tax.
Climate change is the biggest load of nonsense that we face today and to tackle the problem we need to reduce the ammount of attention paid to stupid green activists. The fuel tax helps to wreck our economy because it discourages necessary car journeys and encourages the use cheap foreign imports. Cutting fuel tax encourages people to drive more, which is very productive in economic terms.
For these reasons I urge you to cut the fuel tax.

I'm all for the burn fuel and smile cause - I really am!! and I did vote to lower fuel tax on that site.
But these numpties will just ignore the results and there will be yet another salad eating noncy vote website thing in a few weeks

The high fuel tax restricts the ability of British businesses to respond to the competition from other EU countries with whom we have free trade. Further, high fuel tax contributes to the significant financial burden on every car owning member of the public at a time when vast tracts of the country are practically inaccessible by public transport.
For these reasons I urge you to cut the fuel tax.
