Just had new shocks, control arms and wishbones fitted, so I'd like to have a proper setup to get the most out of the car - wheres a good place to go local to me? (RG26 - Reading/Newbury/Basingstoke triangle)

Cheers!

Give Ray West of West Tuning a call on; 01264773839, he is at Thruxton nr. Andover. What he does not know about our cars is not worth knowing I can assure you. I am going up to get a geo done on my M3 tomorrow in readiness for Hullavington and Goodwood at the weekend. Mention my name if you give him a call; it won't get you any favours but it may do me a turn wink

If its just a standard set up you need Purley Tyres in Purley on Thames will be able to do it.

Free of charge check and the full price is £95.00 if Toe, camber and aligment needs changing.

£35 if its just a front wheel aligment and £65 for both. Did a good job on the wifes car and their was an elise in there the other day so cant be too bad.

I've always been advised that you want to get it done on a 'Hunter' machine, don't know if it's the right advise or not as I've never actually got round to having it done. www.alignmycar.co.uk has a search function for places in your area with the correct machine.

Let me know how you get on, my E36 M3 could do with a re-tweak soon as I'm in the middle of slotting in a Z3 rack and more weight stripped out. Does he do corner weighting? I believe mine was done before so ideally wants redoing...I must have shed another 100 kilos in my ownership and it was partially stripped out when I bought it!

I was going to do it myself, but found it too hot to be out under the car on Saturday, so dropped it off at Storm Developments ( http://www.stormdevelopments.co.uk ) who are 5 minutes from my house. I bought my parts from C3BMW.co.uk.

You're not going to track it are you Al? If so I bow to your superior reproductive / money making apparatus hehe

I'm still in love the M5 but it's just not the right car for my present situation (next to no miles, no offroad parking, living in the smoke, no need for a mid-size saloon with sky high insurance etc.) And yet..... hehe

More pix!
