My tickets arrived today woohoo

However, despite being ready mentally, i'm far from being ready. My car isn't even here yet and neither are my vinyls.

I have a tent and, err, that's it. Surely i'm not the only one who has been telling anyone who'll listen about the great time i'm going to have but has done feck all about getting ready for it.

Now, where did I leave my passport?

You're one step ahead of me, you've got a tent hehe

I'll leave it till the night before, tesco is open round the clock, and I work best under pressure.

Never was one for organising stuff hehe

All you really need is the tickets, you can buy almost everthing else at the Carrefour!

I managed to get the big PH stickers on the doors, but totally buggered up the backwards printed one for the bonnet!
It hit the bin with a few choice words!

Make sure you check it, when we unpacked RandleMarcus' last year at Donnington we found that he only had the outer bit left hehe

Ah, the very same chap who ended up sharing a whole load of our stuff at lm a few years back when his mates forgot to pack his tent, sleeping bag, clothes and so on in the backup car!

Welcome to my world, 2008. hehe

Nearly needed a defibularoator (major SP there) after that debarcle. Found it the pocket of a pair of shorts... strange how these things are always in the last place you look wink

Garlick, just bung everything in the car and get yer boot down. As long as you've got your ticket and a few clean pairs of undies then you'll be fine thumbup

I have a theory about travelling.

All you need is your passport and a wallet. EVERYTHING else is buyable or blaggable.

Very right Tony, as long as you can get your body there, the rest will follow.

I've found my passport and it runs out in 8 months....a bit too close for comfort that!

I'm planning on heading to Tesco to buy 'Value' everything - towels, airbed etc and then binning it all before heading home smile

I'm one for loving to plan, so other than the disposable BBQ's everything is ready to go in the car. Stickers arrived today which are one of the last things.

On the other hand, as others have said, all you need is yourself, money, passport and car and you're away.

I am fitting stickers the day that I leave. Shopping night before. Stop making a fuss about everything, bring a wad of cash, car, tent and a smile - and you're good to go sonny.

I think you'll be fine. If it was within 6 months then they may have a word.
