Thanks. seems easy enough.
tomorrow nights job sorted then, and putting back the switch plate that i've painted, oh and reconnecting the cigar lighter that i must have damaged when messing with the centre console last time, oh and fix the air vent ducting, oh and fix teh stereo better etc, etc, etc. Don't you just love it....

Erm, remove the centre console
and reach up behind the main dash - you may find there's enough play to be able to straighten up the gauge. If not theres a U shaped bracket held on with 2 nuts I think - someone posted a pic of the back of a gauge a while back - Norman?Barkychoc said:

Thats S2, though I would think they'd be similar.
