Remember The Nazi Tunnel?

Reading the thread regarding the crash of AF477, I noticed CY88 had posted a couple of times.

Which reminded me of that classic Nazi Tunnel thread , which I then remembered was pretty much 12 months ago when CY88 first posted it (we were in The Highlands of Scotland at the time, and I spent the week browsing PH on a painfully slow 3G laptop connection).

Anyway.

I just re-visited it, to see if there were any recent updates and guess where the thread is languishing?????

The Gardens, Homes, and DIY sub-forum.......

Imo, the "tunnel" thread was one of the most overrated threads on PH ever.....OK, it was interesting for the first few pages, but really.......

And as for the Tee shirts,,,ffs!

The thread was great at the time but as with any mystery once it has been reasonably resolved it stops being half so interesting, we all hoped it would have NAZI gold, a tank, the ark of the covenant or similar turns out it had nothing amazing or cool in there.
