I need to to buy a camcorder and camera for work. I need to be able to test them properly, BUT, I cannot buy them then and there because I have to report back with suggestions on what I thought was bet.

Anyone know which electrical shops are more favourable to letting you try stuff out? I'll feel bad getting a demo and not buying, even though I will be back later!

Jessops used to be really good for that. Don't know if they still are.

Just explain why you are trying a few and then going to come back later to buy etc.
