Stolen in Solihull area on 1st June 2009

The stolen car in the OP was R reg - 1997-98. Not 1999.

Assuming it's nicked, you'd trust the thief to put accurate age to the car?

Having thought about it for a bit I wouldn't even trust anything a normal person put in a normal advert for a normal car.

If I were selling a track only Elise with no V5 I'd put the chassis number in the advert, just so people wouldn't assume it's stolen.
