Heh. Was a question I was about to ask.

Right.

In order to find out what the 'chain' bonus is, press 'spacebar' whilst flying. You'll get a speed boost, and the hoops cleared with the resulting purple smoke in tow offer more points.

Alas, there are only 42 levels, and then the game repeats. I got north of 200k before I got a little bit silly 'chaining'
