What Beach? (south)

Evening chaps,

Me and lady friend are thinking of heading down to a beach tomorrow for a few hours..

Which is the one to go to? I was thinking West Wittering?

Are you intending to sunbath, or just a day relaxing by the sea?

If it's the latter then you have Ichenor, Dellquay both have good pubs.

Don't forget your suntan lotion it's going to be hot!

I am based in SW london, so anywhere easy to get to from there is good!

On hot sunny days the Whitterings can get very busy tomorrow I would guess would be no exception. but there is usually enough pace to find a spot to yourselves.

If you want a sandy beach the Witterings it has to be, most if not all of the seaside towns down this way have pebble beaches.

There is west beach (also has some Nudist bathing area) just to the right of Littlehampton (if you're facing the sea) has some nice sand dunes, but it is relatively small compared to the Whitterings.

It's where I went in the end, its nice just needs a good clean/rake get ride of the crap on it.

Was a nice day, sea was cold but I still went swimming...
