Does anybody know the specification for rear springs ie internal and external diameter, dia. of wire, height etc. yes I know I can just buy them , but theres a lot of profit being made. We've all got to make a living but preferably not at my expense. I bought heavy duty for a discovery 4 times the size of tiv cost 28 pounds each any help out there please.

You would be better off posting in the S forum

Speak to Derek Gardener at Absolutely Shocks.

He used to have an S and would be more than happy to advise.
Thought I might have his mobile - but no!

Google the name and that should get you there.

Also try AVO but make sure you know what spring rate and spring length you need for the pre-load

I used 9.5" long springs rated 400lb front, 325lb rear on my S3 to make the 5.5" front ride height but over the bumpy bits it has been coil bound

As I recall, back in 2006 when I put them on they were £25 each approx.
