Was anyone watching???
I thought it was a fantastic series - gently far fetched as always, but was surprised that the final 30 mins was pretty much a fade out....

Don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it...but very open....options to, well, do pretty much anything.

The chick could take over from Bauer should he not survive...she seemed to be ready to interogate with a rusty coat hanger and a blow torch at the end.

I was slightly frustrated by the ending but thoroughly enjoyed the series. Too many knots left untied at the end for my liking.

Season 8 beckons. Bit more budget next time, as hopefully Keefer won't be drunk driving and in prison this Xmas then they can spend some more on toys and technology (lacking a bit this time?). Some good characters in this series, but there was a spell a few hours ago where I just wished it would end. It did pick up for the last three hours or so.

The most infuriating and ridiculous series ever made.

How many times can you create tension and suspense by somebody not being able to get a signal on their mobile phone?

Spoliers Ahead so if you haven't watched it stop reading.

Brilliant season with a lot of twists and turns but as you say the last 30 minutes were a bit flat.

- Interesting Taylor has put her role before family I thought she may be stepping down.
- Now that Jack is 'at peace' with himself I wouldn't be surprised if that gets him in trouble next time.
- We haven't seen the last of Tony.
- Finally Kim does something right but predictability in a stupid way.
- How about Jack taking over the Bill role as head of a 'CTU' organisation with Walker doing the all things necessary bit.

Sums up my feelings pretty well also. I heard rumors of a London based series 8 ?

Yes.
KS was doing interviews some months ago about working in London. Whether that was just one of a few ideas in the mix who knows, but I think it would work superbly.

Thought it was well known that CTU will be reactivated. Jack, Chloe, Renee in NY.
Also Alison Taylor will still be POTUS but split/divorced from hubby.

Personally 24 is just ridiculous and over hyped. Good concept in a way but the concept leads to reiterative situations. Add on very unprofessional conduct in most areas, excluding Agent Aaron Pierce of course.

Thank God for "The Wire" as an example of good writing and good acting.

a'ight?
