BBC News and EC

The BBC at breakfast time was using the excuse of upcoming European elections to to explain to us how wonderful the EC is. Lists of ways the EC is supposed to have benefited us, but no attempt at balance. They sem to have decided it is their responsibility to ensure a high turn out in the elections and therefore to convince us the EC is wonderful.

Given that some of the candidates in the elections are standnig on an anti EU platform, is this kind of bias really acceptable?
