North Weald 24 May - Southend Airshow participants photos

Tried to get to Southend for the airshow today but gave up when the queues for both Laindon and Basildon stations were out of the booking hall and up the street 
I've never seen anything like it.
I decided to go to North Weald instead.
Some really nice people up there, one of the guys saw I was taking photos, so took me in the patrol pickup near to the runway to see the Gnats take off. Unfortunately one went tech.
Anyway here are the photos.

I understand a Gnat made a precautionary landing at NW yesterday afternoon with a fuel system problem - no idea if it was the same one which broke today.Been too long since I was at the Weald - I need to go back to let the Soup Dragons top up my cholesterol level with another fry-up.
