Its the end of fking may and they are setting off bd rockets in their back fking garden!

WHY!!!! Its not even November yet!! It cant be a birthday celebration as the only people on this street who's birthday it could be are eleventy hyperbillion year old coffin dodgers.

And where the fk can you get fireworks from at this time of the year!

Fireworks just kicked off near me as well - some heavy duty ones.

One of our dogs is stone deaf and is wondering why the younger dog is running around the lounge like a mad thing..

Funny you should say that. I heard fireworks going off not 5 mins ago here (far, far north of you). No idea why.

Is there some alternative celebration or religious festival this weekend I don't know about? party

I thought it most odd! scratchchin

What is the problem with setting off fireworks?

Why should it only occur on the 5th November?

Or do you just not like people enjoying themselves?

Nov 5th and Jan 1st are 'common' dates for fire works and everyone expects them.

At the end of May you dont 'expect' them, so when they go off it can be a bit of an annoyance.

October or November (Not 5th) too. Diwali normally gets a few set off.

I think they changed the law in 2003 so it isn't as bad as it used to be, I know of a few shops that sell them all year round in Lancashire. They get used all the time now for weddings, 50ths etc.
