why are some phs abusive to FELLOW phers ?,

ive only started using ph forums recently but am suprised to see childish bickering and name calling abd insults,reminds me of junior school,can anybody shed some light on why theres a need for it,maybe im wrong in finding it sh!te and childish or maybe these people who do it do it to make themself feel big and clever is the right way to use forums!,but still i cant seem to work out the point of it,anyway,....i know its a rubbish discussion but its so rife and everyones entitled to their opinion without a kind person throwing insults,and by the way,im thick skinned so it dosent do nothing to me but make the person doing look like a retard!,anyway,i expect this will result in stupid posts from the very same people im moaning about,but this is something that bugs me and i thought this was going to be site of sensible minded people,it is the minority but why are they on here to ruin it for everyone,...
IVE ONLY JUST STARTED USING THE FORUMS IN THE PAST WEEK,ONLY USED PH TO BUY AND SELL CARS BEFORE THAT HENCE MY LATE NOTICING,LOVE PH THOUGH,

- Teenagers suggesting they buy a cheap car and then spend money modding it;
- Insurance fronting;
- Cyclists;
- McLaren / Ferrari;
- 993 vs other 911s;
- Diesels (especially if it is suggested they are faster than petrol cars);
- Bad spelling / grammar; and
- Asking "What car" and then turning down all the suggestions made.
Any more on the hit list?

I thought some of the other forums I've been on could get a bit heated, but I'm surprised at some of the posts on here 
I only joined recently too, so maybe I haven't hardened to it yet. If a thread gets too abusive/silly/childish then I just don't come back to it, though sometimes it is tempting just to see how extreme it becomes. 
In general this is a great forum and I've had helpful replies to my questions so far....maybe that's tempting fate and someone will tell me to
off in reply to this post.
