Just a word of caution if anyone is considering driving the above road over the bank holiday or indeed in the near future.

The main part to watch is the section between A5 across to the B4112 I travelled the route twice yesterday and took time to count that there are AT LEAST 47 yes 47 drain covers either missing ( as in stolen for scrap according to our local news now ) or have collapsed, most are marked by cones but some were not !!

Be very careful on this road & stay away from the kerbs - you have been warned..

Also if anyone is thinking of a nice hoon down the Fosseway then watch for the speed cameras and reduced speed limits to 50pmh

In fact, nearly all of Warwickshires main roads have been hit with the 50mph limit

But surely they would have tarmaced them over & charged the council the equivalent of the national debt for the priviledge rofl
