So far I've given away two selections of cars ranging from D to R1 class, on both occasions they have been oversubscribed, so I have added extras here and there.

Part of these giveaways are to encourage newbies to join the PH crowds whether it be the 'Drift Boys' or the competitive circuit races (I use the word competitive loosely after last nights touring car carnage! wink )

Its good to see that a few of the recipients have joined us in the various disciplines, but am disappointed how small a number that is.

This added to the increase of threads asking for freebies is beginning to disappoint me slighly.

I enjoyed racing to Level 50, I've worked hard for the few credits I have and I dont mind helping out along the way and encouraging others to do the same.

If you need easy credits do a enduro race, if you want a car then fair enough, but please dont take the pee out of the good nature of the PH FM2 gang.

Needs more swearing Carl, but it's a valid point so 7&1/2 out of 10.

I've had good trading relationships with people before, trading paints and such... but there was one guy who asked for stuff and traded me stuff for it that i didn't want. It was fair materialisticly, by since the stuff he sent me didn't match my needs it was pointless for me, then he started just asking for a replica of my RWD Drifting Skyline. I couldn't afford it so I had to sell my Tuscan S and another car (I forget What) so that i could by and mod the skyline for him. I stuck the tune on and Sent him it.

We started racing them together only to find he couldn't handle the ride. He shouted something and logged off. Since then I've avoided all race/party invites from him.

There's taking liberties within reason, and then there's taking the pi5s...

Sidaorb. You traded a R1?! O.o I hope you didn't buy it first. I've never had the cash to buy a R1 =p Saves me alot of issues =p

As one of newcomers to Froza2 (week old) I just wanted to say that despite getting generous gifts and tuned cars from other PHers here I have given them all back already and have given a few of my own cars away.

sorry, had to say it. just wanted to avoid being tarred with the same brush.

Also agree with your sentiment with regard to "gief money plx" threads.

It's different if you have been racing a while with PHers and "Giving it a go". Show willing and you'll get a warm welcome (or so I've found =D, I guess I'm a newbie too, but i have made "Curry's Mum" jokes so i guess that makes me an Amatuer Newb :P)

PH'ers are rather trusting guys, My first night on live with Muz and he sent me the Elan he'd chosen for racing in the 60's cup. Considering i'd only just signed up to the forums I could have done a runner and kept the car, after all he didn't know who i was. Fortunately I "sabotaged" it and sent it back. [Ebul voice on] 60's Victory will be MINE! [/Ebul voice off].

PHers generosity and trust could easily be taken advantage of. But only once i'd imagine wink

Well said. Being relatively new to the PH Forza groups, i can appreciate more people coming along and getting involved as its always great fun having a number of us racing/drifting at the same time.

I have no problem in gifting cars to those in need (as have recently done), but if the option is there to earn some easy credits yourself, that should be the first option.

It's nice to see some new people racing though, and i too am trying to get more involved with other races going on. Wouldn't mind having a crack at some of the international races that are going on too!

No problem at all and definately wouldn't include you in that list as we have 'traded' happily and your in the PH crowd already.

Am I to take it that currys mum jokes are the order of the day?

Is this orangecurry we are talking about?

I heard his mums grid was always available for a bit of multiplayer...

I would love to swell the ranks of the online FM2 racers on PH but don`t have cable broadband atm..just a 3G dongle for the PC.

I'm suprised Microshaft haven't jumped on the bandwagon with a wireless dongle c/w ISP for the 360

AFAIK they are not fit for prupose when it comes to multiplayer gaming. the latency is just ridicilous...

Probably because dongle broadband just doesnt have the performance for online gaming.
On the point of giving away stuff to people you dont know, its no surprise they never show their face again.
I too have completed the game all off my own back, never being given a single car or credit, that is why I would only gift stuff to people I know and who will appreciate what I give them.
Saying that I gave a tuned b class to a mate once and then the next day he tells me the car is st at S class!!! Of course the first thing he does is whack all the engine upgrades on because the higher the number the better eh?
So now I would only trade cars with people who know what they are doing.

SABOTAGE?!?!?

Sabotage away because there is just no way you could have got that car to handle any worse after I gifted to you smile

BTW why have you blocked my commnications on XBL and have you finished with the Elan it yet? hehe

hehe. When I used the Elan after you gifted me it, I couldn't drive it. I played around with the settings and still couldn't drive it. Does that count as sabotage? =p

And don't do that to me =p I sent it back!... I'm still yet to get the refund :cough:

Thank you very much but I have the Bently and that does me just fine. I rarely race R1 as distractions from the girlfriend + 120 mph Bends = 5 Million Pound Hedge Trimmer... biggrin
