Hi Nige, actually, after looking at the MaxPower website and saw things like "best Citroen" competition I had decided it was a total waste of time and wasn't going to go.
At the last minute I managed to blag a press pass last minute (10am Saturday morning!) so I grabbed my gear and went.
Have to say I would have been fairly p****d off if I'd have paid £23 or £28 (VIP) to get in. To watch the driving events was another £10!!!! Didn't bother with that obviously. I can appreciate all types of cars but I wasn't convinced a lot of cars at the show looked all that good in the metal (would be plastic in our case! )
Corvettes were there in spirit because I took my Callaway just to break the monotony of all those Saxos!
See you at the Surrey meet.
