Quite literally. Just moved house and left behind the old solid plated electric hob and have the joy of using gas.

It feels so strange knowing you can have a hot pan in under a minute!

I am so jealous - moved in with my OH about 2 years ago and have the joy of an electric hob and oven. I think I'm just about used to cooking most of my favourite food on it (and now stopped boiling over all the pans) but still cant manage the choux pastry.

Enjoy the power of gas yum

I thought this thread would be about someone who had seen the light and ditched his old coal-fired bbq!

I know what you mean, we went from a tiny 4 ring electric hob to this:

When we moved house. Love it.
