I know I'm probably miles behind on this, but have just been introduced to Mafia Wars on FB. Finding it rather addictive I have to say, did a search but found no threads on it. Anyone here play?

Hardest part is trying to get my mates to sign up so I can get a bigger mob.

Spend any points you get on Energy & attack, mainly energy. I'm on level 40 odd but only have 7 in my clan.

Top tip: When you're buying properties, save up and buy loads at once - price goes up quite sharply but you can buy multiples at the same price

Only spend points on energy, you'll get bugger all through attacking, doing missions rewards far better loot, collectable items and cash. Join one of the 'clans' if you want to get a big mafia, once people are in your mafia you can delete them from your facebook friends list. Buy as many Mafia Mikes as you can and stock up on rent houses as they can't be attacked by other members, until you have a big enough Mafia for protection.

Also, make sure you have as much of the best kit, i.e. town cars & body armour for every member in your mafia.

Have stacked up on energy, and defence mainly. Seem to be doing ok when attacked, unless its a big mob.

hmmm only level 14 for my... but... I make tens of billions an hour should really go back on but saving up the trillion £s I need for buying something... I forget what.

I do mob wars..... currently an hardened bastid with loads of top of the range weapons and too much money to deal with... only lvl35, wish there was a quick way to build up....

Have noe given up placing money in the bank as they only take $100000 max off me, I make over 250million an hour so not even denting it.
