Wolverhampton - whats it like?

A pal of mine has been offered a job in Wolverhampton

without being rude whats it like, Ive never been there so cant really comment!

Its alright, cousins moved there about 15 years ago and haven't left. Some nice open areas

though be warned I oftend mistake wolverhampton for walsall so i can never remember which he moved to

i dont think bilston even has a "nice" part.

India Gates is an aright resturant there. Twin towers is an Alright club ( if you like Bashment and a healthy dose of hostility in the air ) but thats about it.

i drive through the cursed place on my way to wolvo' almost daily, and it doesn't ever seem very appealing.

the 24hr jetwash thing is an interest... but again.. WTF lol


believe me, Perton isnt that expensive, and its away from all the dross ( being right next door to Tettenhall ). only a short 4/5 mile commute back into the town from there...

Tettenhall is fairly exclusive though lol

on the plus side.. theres ALWAYS something happening at the Civic hall.

just watch out for "Generations" night.. the towns is full of 12-16yr old Greebo's from about 5-6'o'clock waiting for the club within the civic hall to open.

GET OUT OF TOWN FAST! lol they will be sick on you.

locked doors and did not feel like stopping

Just remembered, theres some modern housing up by bently bridge.

seems quiet enough up there, but you gotta drive through gangland to get into town lol.

on the plus side, cinema and nandos is 2 mins walking in the other direction. result lol
