Ok well basically, I just bought one...

And it's added about 10% to my lap time.

So... When racing a car, leave the steering wheel out *nods*

Alternatively, if anyone manages to use the Steering wheel with some success... Please share your wisdon here! bounce

I use the wheel - have a look at the Race Pro TT thread.

Works for me.

Takes a while to get yourself dialed in though.

Ok - without looking it up.

I'm one of the faster guys in the timetrials so it show's the wheel can work well.

Just practice.

Do you find that when going straight your steering wheel tilts to the left?

Also does the attitude of your camber and caster actively play a part in the responsiveness of the force feedback?

I've had three wheels - 1st was true, 2nd was off to the right, 3rd one is true.

FFB depends on the game - Forza is more obvious than Race Pro. It's not that noticable if you have extreme camber set ups but if you have the front toe a touch +, then you'll notice the car will wander and the 'float' around dead centre can make it a bit of a pain in high speed straight sections where you have to set yourself up very accurately for a turn in point.

As said - it's all practice.

practice practice practice dude. The wheel sucks at first but after a while it does get better. Make sure you have dead zones set up on both sides i think i run 2% to prevent consent side to side movements down the straights.

What am I feeling when I'm turning round a corner, everything is fine and steady, I relax for a second only then to get a massive Jerk to the outside of the turn?...

It's weird how the simplest corner can be done so easily with the pad but add the FFB + Steering Wheel and suddenly you're all over the shop...

And drift races >.< God dammit!

It is all just down to practice.

If you keep switching back and forth between the pad and the wheel then I can't imagine that helping much, pick your poison and stick with it!

Just had a look to see how much postage would be, and it probably wouldn't be worthwhile. It will be at least £7 to post it according to the royal mail website, so unless you want to sell it for £15 + postage it'd be easier for me to get it from amazon myself. Thanks for the offer though.

Ok no worries, but if you have no luck with Amazon then give me a shout and you can have mine.
