Heidfeld To Test For Jordan
Discussion
Nick Heidfeld is to test for Jordan and is a "prime candidate" to drive for the team in 2004.
The German, dumped by Sauber at the end of the season, will be behind the wheel of an EJ13 when the team starts testing at Jerez next week.
"Nick is a prime candidate for a revitalised Jordan Grand Prix next year and we are anxious for him to start getting to know the team at this stage. It is an important test as we have got a lot of new components to try as well as vital tyre testing for Bridgestone,"' said Eddie Jordan.
Also testing for Jordan will be 20-year-old Czech Jarek Janis, a current star of Formula 3000.
Meanwhile, the team has confirmed that it will launch its 2004 car, the EJ14, in the first week of February.
