Racing Tuscans "Going Fast"
Discussion

We all know they GO fast, but I'm talking about the amount of people/drivers that are looking at buying them at the moment. I have 2 for sale, and at present have at least 2 parties considering each car!!
The split is 50/50, 2 for racing, and two for road car conversion/track cars, seems like demand may out strip availability. I know quite a few have been sold or contracted to drivers in the last few weeks, and I recently sold my 29 car to a fellow Pistonheader just a while back, I've never known such a high level of interest so early in the "off" season.
Have TVR announced that next season is free or something

Did Reidy not tell you before you went off with those Luton people?

Maybe they were just waiting for me to go
Mind you, it's a good indication for the Tuscan Challenge, if they have bigger grids, they will have no trouble maintaining the GT/F3 connection, great news

Just had an offer on one of our two remaining Race Tuscans subject to the BRSCC confirming that Tuscans will still be racing with GT/F3 in 2004.
TVR Motorsport have stated that it's 100% BUT, the BRSCC have yet to confirm. Anyone heard anything??
I can't belive that they won't be, for even with small grids, they still pulled in more race fans then any series that could be considered as a replacement for them, and anyway, It sounds to me that 2004 will see much bigger numbers then 2003.

Only the e mail from John Reid confirming that we are running with the F3/GT package again.
Good to hear that at least one of your cars will be racing next year. Whilst I understand people like to convert them as the 'ultimate' road/track car, it is a great shame to see them permanently removed from the racing arena.

Just for interest, and adding fuel to the continued success of the Tuscan Challenge, car 27, the ex Jay Shepherd, Colin Blower/Hawthorns "lightweight" special has been sold this morning to an experienced Tuscan driver who will be returning to the series.
Good news
I only have the 26 car left now,and two people trying to raise the money to buy it and although it doesn't have the race history of the 29 and 27 cars, it's a great car, fully refurbished and bar an engine, ready to race. It has a full 2003/2004 spec plus PAS, F/Mounted pedels, Stack, and brand new bodywork finished in Jet black realmeanlookingM/F@@ker First one to put a cheque in my hand BUYS IT.
Darren Dowling also has one or two cars for sale, and if he sells one of them he might run the remaining one himself, so if anyone is interested, contact him,on 07958 754726 or send me an e-mail and I'll pass it on.
Lots of tuscans racing is more fun for all concerned.
