Compare the Meekat

[mneame]

Took this at Exmoor Zoo last week. Was quite please with it.

Canon EOS30d with 75 - 300 USM MKIII. Slight sharpen and colour adjustment in post processing.

Have got a couple more but got a bit carried away with the post processing and need to redo them.

Nice sharp pic. There such funny little animals, you could watch them all day. One of mine from Chester Zoo.

[Zebrano]

One from when I was in SA earlier this year. Funny looking fellows.

[_dobbo_]

Good thread, I'll compare my meerkat - from Bristol Zoo:

[WennyP]

This is a baby meerkat I photographed at Zoo Doue, Saumur, in 2008.

Cute, eh?

OK, Compare the Mongoose for those of us who are dyslexic!

Congratulations! Do you take and process all of those?

Whoever said it the other day was right, this place has been effected by moving it under the P&P banner.

[C&C]

One to compare from London Zoo:

Conrad.

[Furyous]

My turn......

C&C welcome....

That's told me, then...

Moving on...

If you delve back, you'll find the P&P spawned this forum.

Sorry to assume you have a sense of humour.

Try not to take yourself so seriously, you might enjoy life a little more.

I do realise that the P&P spawned this forum but I'd like to think we've moved on a bit since then. Whilst my sense of humour is in fine fettle I'd like to think that this forum is for those who practise the art of photography - at whatever level - rather than a place for people to show off their skills at searching Google Images.

Go on MBH ... show us one of your photo's next time.

Here's a picture of a meerkat in France:

I have to admit I stumbled across this thread when searching "What's New" and didn't notice it was in the photography forum.

Post one of my pics...?

Well, I would, but they're so blindingly good I fear for huge losses in the wake of copyright theft. You wouldn't believe what I've done with my modest D80. Sometimes I amaze myself beyond belief. I'm really that good.

Oh, yes....

No, better than that...
