Looks nice to me. A very rare colour, I personally like it but it may be a little harder to sell on come that time in the future. But I'd go for it if you can knock them down a bit smile

I spoke to a guy selling one last week. It was an '06 Interlagos blue, with 16k miles and a years BMW warranty. He let it go for £17.4k. I think that is a fair reflection of the current market for private sales.

Nice looking car, but a little expensive. I'm starting to really like sepang the more I see it though as already said it may be a bit of a marmite colour and slightly more difficult to move on.

I think the £17.4k guy must have been desperate to sell as he probably could have got at least that much from the trade. Difficult to get anything under £20k at the moment, and I would say the sepang car would be good value at around £23k IMHO

thanks - I think it would be rare for a dealer to drop 3K though!

Yes he was desperate to sell, but I also negotiated two other private sale '06 cars down to £18k. Sellers are not getting a lot of interest at the moment, don't be fooled by high asking prices!

So have you bought one of them? smile

Yes, you will always get some people prepared to sell cheaper, but for a 07 low mileage car from AUC that the OP is looking at you will be paying significantly more.

I actually like the colour.. Suits the Z4 and is a bit rare..Nice spec and low miles..

Price is very much dependant on CONDITION and SPEC and can vary hugely. This is a top book price but if it's a minter I say go for it. Try getting 1k off though..lol

As others have said, thats expensive for that car.

The spec is good, but not fantastic, and certainly not worth that price.

You should be able to find a similar age/mileage/spec car for at least £2-3k less..

When I bought mine in November (yes I know prices have risen), there was a coupé in Sepang Bronze with Light Sepang leather, about 10,000 miles and it was up for £21k.

Didn't like the colour in the pictures, so never went to see it. But after I bought mine, I happened to see it at a dealership where I was picking up some parts, and I was sorry that I'd dismissed it so quickly as I could have saved myself £5k.

I like that colour too, think it would be a pretty special Z4m to have. Glad to see the prices up there too smile

If he's really negotiated 2 z4m's down to 18k and not bought one a slap is in order.

probably hasnt because one of them is probably the 10k example that didnt have a running in service - not a late one, nope, a car that got to 10k miles WITHOUT A SERVICE!

and the second is probably a high mile poverty spec one...

If it had been a half decent car he managed to negotiate to £18k he would have bitten the sellers hands off - its only a buyers market for the mainstream or mediocre... the good cars are being snapped up at good prices.

Surely you don't start negotiating on price until you have decided you want to buy the car? Otherwise it's just a waste of everybodys time.

well, thats what a normal person would do...

however, someone who claims to have negotiated TWO cars down below the market value of the car, but didnt buy either one is either a time waster, or was looking at some particularly bad examples that he would only buy for signficantly under the market value.

of course, all IMHO.

I paid, £17800 for my 06 Interlagos Blue Roadster in March this year with 19k miles on the clock.

Has genuine CSL wheels, heated seats, sat nav, park sensors and is about to get a nice big set of AP racing calipers wink

I don't think you should worry about mileage these engine are strong. It seems strange people worry about a Z4M with 40k on the clock but not an M3 with 40k on the clock... The cars we made to be driven!
