I just had to send one myself, very odd as it's stuck tucked away in the corner.

I think kids would call in retro....or something.

The only thing to note is that foreign companies will ignore the FPS list or any requests to stop.

I use efax costs about £30 a year and gets sent as a pdf to your email so you can choose to print or not as its a premium rate number you do not get any junk

The majority of junk faxes we used to receive were from two specific groups;

Vehicle leasing / sales

Other vehicle related but local services

As a retort, if the fax lists a proper return fax number and you have access to an old fashioned thermal type fax machine,

1, take the incoming fax and photocopy it twice,
2, stick the three sheets together and apply sellotape to the last edge that will enter the machine,
3, insert the non-sellotaped end in the machine, dial the number
4, as the paper is fed through the machine tape the two ends together to complete the circle
5, leave it to run overnight.

They end up with a fax machine with a memory full of their advert, or copies all over the floor, or if they have an old fashioned thermal fax machine - an office full of used fax paper that looks like an explosion in an andrex factory as no end page signal & cut will have been received.

Childish, true, but hehe

hehe Have't done that since the 90's!

I had a problem with junk faxes from 192.com (I work from home so phones ringing at 1.00am make me more than a little cross). In the end I sent the faxes to the Information Commissioner and they used it to prosecute and get the gits closed down.

confused We get fax using a computer program. Don't know what it is but it costs us nothing.

I'll find out in the morning and post it up here if it hasn't already been done.
