Does any one know when the full gt5 is going to appear in the shops?
Any rumours, or does any one work for Polyphony wink
I've checked the website but it never has any news.
Or is there a big update coming for gt5 prologue?

Rumour has it going into the shops either December this year or March next year. Their will proberly be more information after E3 which i think is in July.

Also looks like their is going to be weather effected races, night races and crash damage, but only on race cars.

If there's one thing Polyphony have demonstrated over the years, it's that release dates for their titles are meaningless.

Nothing official about the release date yet (see above about E3).

Although the new Sony PSP (not an upgrade but a totally new design) is due out before Christmas. There is supposed to be a tie-in using it with GT5. So it's all leaning towards a December 2009 release.

Sony would be mad to miss the Christmas shopping season.

They already missed last Christmas, so don't get your hopes up.

I guess they could just wait till December 2010 then laugh

I must say though Rufus, if your previous post is correct about the features, I will forgive them taking so long!!

Totally agree with this yes but here's hoping they get this one right...

Plus they can still add additional stuff to the "disc" version of the game with downloadable content, they've never been able to do that before with the PS1 & 2 GT titles, which had to be 'finalised' for their respective release days which would always lead to delays/bug fixes etc.

That said we don't won't them rushing it out for December full of bugs either! biggrin

Yeah GT5 is turning into the Bugatti Veyron timeline of development...
(in fake German accent: "Nein, Hans, just keep adding more radiators!!")

But I agree with you, and have said so before on here, I honestly think its going to be worth the wait.

Even if it is 2012 on the PS4 laugh
