If it has the 2.8 engine it is an S1, however, your car has the overriders on the bumpers, which are S2.
You probably have what is generally refered to as an S1.5.
I.e it has all of the nice new developments of the S2 such as overriders, Electric windows etc put TVR still had a number of 2.8 engines to fit.

No i bought the car from a guy in wakefield it was running crap when i got it cutting out when hot,My mate gave it a service last week and tune so seem ok now,But need to get the wheels aligned now does not feel right but there agian it might just be me. It has had a respray at sometime,But i only bought it for the weekend use.Also need to taga tops recovered at some point

I thought mine is an S1.5, that is it has a 2.9 engine but no chrome bits on the bumpers, no elec windows, has the slot alloys from S1 etc. That's TVR for you. I.e it has all of the nice new developments of the S2 such as overriders, Electric windows etc put TVR still had a number of 2.8 engines to fit.

I guess the crossover cars were a bit of a chimaera.
