Well with approx 4 weeks to go to this years S Club I'm sure that there is plenty of midnight oil being burnt trying to get cars ready......

To recap for anyone that is not already aware, this is the annual get together for the S Series cars, although you do not have to own an S Series to come along. All TVR's, potential owners etc are welcome to attend. 200 parking spaces for TVR's have been reserved in the event "arena" wink

Where The Heritage Motor Centre, Gaydon, Wark's
http://www.heritage-motor-centre.co.uk
When Sunday 7th June, 10.00-16.00.
Cost Free access to S Club and TVR parking area for any TVR. Entry to the museum building itself is £7 rather than normal £9 if you can prove you are with S Club.

Volunteers needed!
Gozzy, Dave M, Mycroft, Barkychoc and myself managed, just about, last year. However we learnt that a couple of extra bodies would be really useful at the start of the day when the majority of cars arrive. If you live or will be staying locally, can be there by 10am and are able to help line up S's in a car park it'd be great if you can help us for an hour or so to get the cars in and parked up as efficiently as possible. Please let us know if you can help smile

Schedule for the day
All timings are approx, subject to change etc, but here is a rough outline for the days events

10.00 Gates open
10.01 Loads of TVR's arrive.....hopefully! Spend the morning look at S's, voting for favourite cars, visiting museum, etc
13.30 Voting ends
13.30 Scenic drive
14.30 (or as soon as back from scenic drive with nice warm engines) Noisiest comp
14.30-14.40 Prizes awarded
14.40-15.00 Raffle draw
16.00 S Club ends for 2009
17.00 Museum closes

SCH09 Mugs
Please see this topic for full details.....
http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?h=0...
We have decided to order 108 mugs so it is possible there will be some for sale on the day. To be certain of getting one there is still time to preorder - please add your name to the list and email me through my profile.

Charity
You can find more information on this years charity here www.steps-charity.org.uk. This is actively supported by Harvey Bootland, a V8S owner, and his family. Being a smaller charity it's always in need of funds so hopefully we can help to raise some money on the day through our mug sales and raffle....

Competitions
As last year on the day we will let everyone vote for their favourite S1/1.5, 2, 3/4 and V8S. We will also have the usual competition for the loudest cars.

Scenic Drive
Members of the WWM TVRCC will be joining us on the day and have kindly planned us a 30-35 min route around the area. Gerald TVR / Norman has tested the route and made some "S friendly" tweaks. Full details of the route will be provided on the day.

Calendar
You can add your name to the calendar here....
http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/calendar/event.asp?i=...
Adding your name is not a commitment to attend but it will help us to gauge likely numbers.
