I took this shot in a museum in Munich a few years ago. Four of the cars are obvious, but two of them elude me. Any idea about the second and third cars on the top row?

I honestly thought those were toys or model cars when I first looked! No idea what those unidentified cars are though.

A Beetle expert (who is looking for his books) reckons the first beetles, when he finds his book he may be able to expand on years/types.

I like the middle one smile

Could they be Beetle prototypes?
Tatras?

No, a wankel in the front is quite normal.

(Just used preview before submitting, why did it un-capitalise wankel? Does it know something we don't?)

No idea about the third but isn't the second one a Fiat Topolino?

And yes that one at the bottom is a Ro80. There used to be a brown one in South Norwood parked up when I was a kid. Couldn't decide if I thought it was cool even then!

Yup - I'm assuming this is the Deutschmuseum.

That car used to be on the floor so you could look inside it and stuff. Fantastic - I love Ro80s - so ahead of their time.

hehe
I think it's an effect that makes the picture look more like toy cars than they did before
