The first problem is sometimes when I open and close the drivers door the window automaticly drops? The second is a very strange one! Two red " your bulbs need changing" lighs are on on the dash and when I turn the side lights on the front indicator lamps light up instead of the side lights! Any ideas? Thanks as always. Matt

My M3 did the same window trick - not everytime but occasionally. Never bothered me enough to get it sorted. I assumed it was just a software glitch.

As the smartarse above has pointed out, they're supposed to drop a smidge to get under the rubber seal, but I'm guessing that yours (like mine) just go all the way down.

Sounds like you need new sidelight bulbs, I know the indicator lights up if the sidelight bulbs blow.

Thanks for all of your advice. My window drops all of the way! I asumed as the indicator lights were on a switch or loom may be faulty. But i will change the bulbs! I have had 4 m3's before and have never experiaced any of these faults before now!

Thanks again.

Sounds like this is clever technology to me, your sidelights do not work so the car is compensating and making sure your seen by other cars by turning on the indicators as your sidelights. I wouldn't be surprised if it was doing that, it is a very clever car afterall. Just my thought

If you press the unlock button on your remote key twice, the window will drop all the way down....
Correct. If you unlock twice (within 2 seconds or seomthing) when you open the door, the windo drops to aid access. When you get in and close the door, the window should close again.
