Has anyone had any experiences with re-mapped auto's? Is it a viable option?
I currently have a mini one,and i think the only thing lacking is the power. I've read that by way of remap you can achieve cooper-esque power, but is that possible with an auto??

I don't profess to know anything about this, so this is all IMO.

Assuming R50/52, the ONE and Cooper came fitted with the same CVT gearboxes right?

If so, the torque converter fitted *should* be the same on both cars, and a remap of the manual ONE gives it similar power to the manual Cooper, then by that logic the same should apply to the automatic variants.

Remapping the engine to Cooper power is fine on a One Auto as the Cooper and One both share the shame CVT gearbox (model number GACVT16Z)
